Supplier Code of Conduct — Human Rights

Purpose and Scope

VAXA is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights throughout its supply chain. This Supplier Code of Conduct sets minimum requirements for suppliers and business partners.

This Code applies to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners providing goods or services to VAXA, including agricultural inputs, equipment, packaging, logistics, and services.

Supplier Requirements

Suppliers are expected to:

Labour & Employment

  • Prohibit forced, bonded, or compulsory labour
  • Prohibit child labour and comply with applicable minimum age laws
  • Comply with laws on wages, working hours, and rest periods

Non-Discrimination & Fair Treatment

  • Provide a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, or abuse
  • Ensure equal treatment regardless of gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, or other protected characteristics

Health & Safety

  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment
  • Ensure proper training for workers handling machinery, chemicals, or hazardous materials
  • Comply with applicable health and safety regulations

Legal Compliance & Transparency

  • Comply with all applicable labour and human rights laws
  • Be able to demonstrate compliance upon reasonable request

Implementation & Compliance

  • Suppliers are expected to communicate this Code to relevant employees and subcontractors
  • VAXA may request confirmation of compliance or engage with suppliers to address identified risks
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in corrective actions or termination of the business relationship
